Latin II | Dr. Austen Rockcastle
Meets: Monday and Thursday 3:00 - 4:00pm
Description: The Latin 2 course continues through the rest of Wheelock's Latin (about Chapter 40 and beyond) and the 38 Stories, workbook with additional study of progressively more difficult grammar and vocabulary, as well as more challenging texts from the aforementioned Roman authors, the Scriptures, the Mass and Church Fathers. As with Latin 1, successful completion of the course will require that students make time for the consistent, even daily, practice, memorization and drilling of Latin vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure and translating.
